This Tsukurikake Lab is an exhibition of oil paintings, drawings, prints and This time, Tsukurikake Labo welcomes Minoru Kaneda, a highly acclaimed artist who has consistently produced two-dimensional works in oil, drawing, printmaking, and other media, to present a project on "line". In collaboration with visitors, we aim to create a space for both children and adults to spend time comfortably and participate in the expression of their favorite two-dimensional works.

＝ Message from the Artist ＝
There are various ways to express your artwork, such as painting, creating three-dimensional works, and composing space. Line is involved in any kind of expression. When creating something, the exchange of expression begins with the line. From there, the work develops in all directions. So how about following the line? Are there only thin, hard lines drawn out with a mechanical pencil or straight lines drawn with a ruler? Or are they thick and strong lines, or lines that look like surfaces? Or are there lines that are shaky and unreliable? Bouncy lines that seem to pop out. Once you start drawing, a wide variety of shapes are born. You may even be able to draw things that are invisible to the eye. It is interesting to use your physicality to draw with all your might. It is also interesting to close your eyes and draw freely. Let's explore lines and travel through the kingdom of lines.
